not just an ordinary morning.

As I sit hear recovering from the whirlwind that just past throughout my house, namely my two cousins, Hannah and Hamish. They arrived late last night about two I believe from sunny Australia, while I was in a wondrous dreamland of the beautiful Paris. Walking down the high street. With of course an array of stunning, exotic French boys surrounding me, then suddenly I awoke to the chatter and combust of them tearing apart my home. To be quite frank I was a bit annoyed that they had ruined my dream, okay so maybe annoyed is an understatement. However I went to greet them in the tired state I dragged myself out of bed and down the hallway to the lounge where they all were chatting if you can call it that. I said my hellos and how are you and then decided that it was time to go back to bed.
I had finally just drifted off to sleep again when Hannah comes and jumps on my bed as says in an excited and happy voice- what do you want to play first Lindsey? I groan and sit up slowly. What would make her thing that i would want to play anything it was 3 O’clock in the morning. So I reply to her “lets play go to bed and see who can sleep the longest.” In a slightly sarcastic voice. I don’t think she picked up on it though. She sits there thinking for awhile as if trying to figure out how we would play this game. She opens her mouth with a question but just as she’s about to speak my auntie calls up the hallway "Hannah you better not have woken Lindsey up" Hannah jumps of my bed in a hurry and run out of my room, "no mum" she says in a innocent tone.

I wake up in the morning with the sun streaming through my window and I’m instantly happy, but then I hear it and I’m astounded at the amount of noise streaming up the hall in to my bed room. I hear Hannah singing in a very high pitched, not to mention out of key voice and I‘m a little scared to be honest. I hear the bustle of things happening in the kitten and my brother’s ridiculously loud racing car game. I try to go back to sleep but there is no way possible to do so now, my brain has slowly started to work. So I just lie there think of nothing in particular, just stare up at the roof, then I decided to get up. I walk down the hall again, I’m groggy and sleep still lingers in my eyes. But I pull through. I address the morning as a challenge and entertain my little cousins with the most exciting activities and then its time for them to leave as they must make a start up to the West Coast where they will be staying for the next couple of days. What can I say I’m relieved to say the least. Just as fast as they came they are gone, in a flash. Leaving a collecting of crumbs, rubbish and toys speared across my lounge like its jam on toast.

Now I’m typing this, sill tired. As I write I am drinking my peppermint tea and surfing the Internet for something remotely interesting to look at. Just thought I share my wonderful experience with you.

Until next time LH.x
